Dillington House is possibly one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Somerset and is located in the middle of the picturesque Dillington Estate, near Ilminster.
Formerly this was the Somerset home of George III’s Prime Minister, Lord North, the surrounding countryside setting is truly impressive, the service is described as “first class and the freshly prepared homemade food utterly delicious!” The House dates back to the 16th century and provides accommodation with 40 en-suite bedrooms – 16 of which are fully accessible. In addition to the main House there are wonderful Mews building. The whole site offers open views across the river Isle floodplain.
Dillington House is used for adult education and conferencing during the week and as a wedding venue at weekends. It is not open to the general public. Dillington is set in idyllic countryside and offers to be an enchanting setting, with all the grandeur of a stately home. This means it will be a perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs giving you wonderful memories for years to come.
